New Jersey Executive Order 192: Workplace 3-Step Process To Stay In ComplianceOn Wednesday October 28th Governor Murphy signed executive order 192 which mandates that as of 6:00 a.m. on November 5th, all New Jersey employers, at minimum, require individuals at the worksite to maintain at least six feet of distance from others to the maximum extent possible and require employees and visitors to wear masks when entering the worksite, subject to certain limited exceptions.
Our Workplace HR Team have been working with clients to create a 3 Step Process that will ensure that employers are staying in compliance under the new executive order mandate.
Step 1. Employees and other individuals entering the workplace will be required to enter wearing a mask and immediately have their temperature checked and then answer the COVID Symptom Questionnaire that Workplace created using this QR CODE Scan system. Masks and hand sanitizer should be kept at all entrances to your facility just encase someone forgets to bring their own.
Step 2. Properly setting up your facility to ensure that that employees remain 6 feet apart. Workplace has been working with vendors that can provide signage and plastic dividers if necessary.
Step 3: Setting up a schedule to routinely clean and disinfect all high-touch areas in accordance with DOH and CDC Guidelines
