At Workplace HCM, Volunteer Week is more than just a calendar event—it’s a chance to pause and reflect on the meaningful impact we’ve made in our community over the years. Giving back is deeply rooted in our company culture, and we take pride in fostering a workplace that supports and encourages our employees to make a difference.
Each year, Workplace HCM selects four nonprofit organizations to partner with, allowing our team to engage in various charitable activities and outreach efforts. These initiatives serve as a powerful reminder of the importance of community, compassion, and collective action.
Hands-On Help: Day of Service Initiatives
Throughout the years, our team has dedicated time and energy to a variety of local nonprofit organizations through our Day of Service program. These volunteer days give our employees the opportunity to step away from their desks and immerse themselves in meaningful work that supports vital causes in our community.
We’ve partnered with incredible organizations such as the American Red Cross, Animal Welfare Association, Total Experience Foundation, and the Food Bank of South Jersey. From organizing supplies and packing food donations to helping care for animals and supporting disaster relief efforts, our team members have rolled up their sleeves to make a difference where it’s needed most.
Collection Drives: Supporting Through Donations
In addition to volunteering our time, Workplace HCM also regularly hosts in-house donation drives to support a range of charitable causes. These efforts have helped provide essential items to those in need, especially during the holidays and colder months.
Some of the amazing organizations we’ve supported through donations include Toys for Tots, the Jersey Cares Coat Drive, Cathedral Kitchen, and the United Ukrainian American National Relief Committee. Our team has come together to collect gently used coats, toys, and personal care items to help brighten someone’s day and ease life’s burdens.
One particularly rewarding initiative was our in-office sandwich-making project, where our team prepared and delivered sandwiches to Cathedral Kitchen, providing nourishing meals to members of our community facing food insecurity.

As we celebrate Volunteer Week, we’re reminded of the power of unity and the importance of giving back. At Workplace HCM, volunteering isn’t a one-time event—it’s an ongoing commitment that defines who we are as a company.
