Following a recent transition within the company, Celtic Air wanted to take advantage of the opportunity to put new Human Resources policies and training in place to ensure seamless operations and enhance efficiencies. With company culture as a top priority for the family-owned business, it was also important for them to have employee relations processes in place as they continue to grow.

The Solution

Our HR team proactively engaged with the client conducting a gap assessment, needs analysis, and sending HR monthly emails. We identified areas for improvement, such as streamlining their onboarding, handbook, and performance tracking processes.

The Challenge

  • Initial Engagement and Gap Analysis: Scheduled a meeting with leadership to understand their current challenges. Conducted a thorough gap analysis to identify underutilized services and ways to improve efficiencies.
  • Customized Solutions: Implemented the Workplace HR Electronic Onboarding Set-Up and provided training to HR managers on new hire processes. Developed a customized Employee Handbook tailored to their specific needs. Introduced and trained team members on the HRIS software, Employer on the Go, to enhance the tracking of employee performance and personnel details.
  • Ongoing Support and Training: Provided continuous support and training sessions to ensure they fully utilized the new systems and services.

The Imapct

  • Enhanced Onboarding Process: The implementation of the electronic onboarding process resulted in a smoother and more efficient onboarding experience. New hires could self-report their information, reducing the time spent on onboarding and minimizing the use of paper documents. The automated system ensured all documents were signed and correctly filled into the employee profile, providing a seamless start for new employees.
  • Improved Policy and Procedure Clarity: The customized Employee Handbook provided clear guidelines and policies, mitigating risks and ensuring all employees were on the same page. This handbook became a critical point of reference, ensuring consistent and transparent decision-making.
  • Operational Efficiency: The training on the HRIS software allowed them to meticulously track employee performance and manage personnel details efficiently. The overall HR process became more streamlined, enabling the leadership team to focus more on business development rather than administrative HR tasks.
